Janie Perry GonzalesVIDA IIJanie Perry Gonzales’s lifelong passion for painting and drawing has led her to a pursuit of using the visual poetry of colors, shapes, and light to connect with the viewers’ emotions through her artwork and as a freelance curator. A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico; she has also resided with her husband and three children in Spokane and Olympia, Washington and Alamogordo and Taos, New Mexico. She also spent three enchanting years in Zaragoza, Spain. Vida Art Exhibitions is a community-based ongoing project with a mission of placing fine art in non-traditional venues for the mutual benefit of the viewers, the hosting organizations, and the artists. Since 2005, Vida has created exposure and opportunities for numerous artists to reach out and connect with the community in a gesture of sharing art’s life-enriching, healing, and other beneficial qualities ranging from amusement and entertainment to hope and inspiration for the viewers. |
